Weir House Dance
Weir House Dance
Nine o'clock on Friday night found the majority of Weir's Good Eggs dancing to the melodious and stirring strains of Mr. Walpole's Orchestra. Tasty little programmes, gaily illustrated and a dainty supper helped to make the occasion one of the most successful occasions of the social year. Other helpful factos were:—Mr. Edgley's benevolent smile, Mr. Harpur's a-la Ginger Rogers delightful dancing—an ingenious system of broadcasting throughout the house—the bee-utiful decorations And (I nearly forgot) the presence of the Dance Committee.
They may not be handsome, and they may not be well dressed, but my God, they were cheerful. So that's that.
