Annual Law Ball

Annual Law Ball.

On learning that the Law Faculty Club and Law Students' Society were holding the Annual Ball in the second week of the holidays we dashed along to see the secretary, Mr. Jackson ("Baron Jackson"). "Smad" was admitted to the sanctum and invited to read a document which indicated that the processes of the law (summonses issued by the Supreme Court of Revelry) are being used to ensure that St. Francis' Hall is full on Thursday, August 22.

"Let you and each of you all excuses being laid aside attend. . . ." So runs the summons, and "Smad" joins the voice of the law in commending the Ball to students. It is one of the outstanding social events of the season, and, as profits are being donated to the Building Fund this year, it is certainly worthy of full support from all students.
