The Klawing of the Kats
The Klawing of the Kats
Vile and feline though we be, and sisters of iniquity.
We humbly crave a favour small—
Come, join us round the stove-pipes tall
And liven up the evening brawl.
New blood we want, we quite agree—
Too long you've been a member, unofficially,
Listening to our prattle with a strangely spiteful glee,
So come in, and welcome; a confederate we see.
A vicious pen, a hearty hate, a turn of repartee.
You're a find, T.M.! We're waiting here,
Your kindred spirits, far and near,
To offer you in fair goodwill
The entry to our circle shrill.
You're one of us, that's easily seen,
So drop that sickly pose, come clean;
Instead of listening, stay and talk.
We promise none of us will baulk,
We're only shameful, two-faced brats,
You're wasted over there, T.M.,
Come, join the Kollege Kats.
The S .. . ?) P ... (?) Brigade.
