Tournament Eligibility

Tournament Eligibility.

The following changes in the Tournament Eligibility Pules made at the Committee meeting held at Easter, are of particular interest to Commerce students and to the older students of the College.

The age limit of thirty years has been removed, and now students of any age are eligible to represent at the Faster Tournament.

As certain subjects for the B. Com. Degree are not taught at Victoria, it has been decided to admit a student studying for this degree as eligible, provided he conforms to the following rules:—

(a)He must take one or more subjects at V.U.C., the total time of which is at least two hours per week.
(b)He must attend eighty per cent, of the lectures in these subjects.
(c)He must attend lectures in Commerce at a coaching college of at least one hour per week.
(d)He must attend at least two-thirds of the lectures mentioned in (c).
(e)He must obtain from the Registrar of his College a certificate that he is a bona fide B. Com. Student.
(f)He must obtain from the Registrar of his College a certificate as to his lecture qualification.
(g)He must obtain from the Director of the Coaching College a certificate as to his lecture qualitication.
