Sketch of men standing in a row

H. MXLLXR.—We agree that the editorship of a magazine, as well as the command of a diocese, can lead to higher things.

A. B. CRXKX.—(1) Yes, it was unfortunate the lecturer caught sight of that glowing cigarette end. We sympathise with your aims, but then, Sxr Rxbxrt Stxxt is still Chancellor; (2) Quite so; people who sit in glass houses should not play with hoses.

Prxf. BRXXN.—We admit that insomnia must highly classical Latin since Livy uses it fifty-seven times, but we must confess that we have never noticed it ourselves during Latin lectures.

Prof. HXXXXR.—We are glad to hear that in Chicago, after a man had been hanged, it was agreed that he had been hanged. Remarkably logical, but only another proof that we have everything in common with America except, of course, language.

W. A. SHXXT.—Your explanation is scarcely satisfactory. We are afraid you are keeping back the truth; we advise you to make a clean breast of it. Now whose was that hat-box? However, we shall do our best to keep it out of the papers.

Mr. B. E. MXRPXY.—On the whole we think that the boy is rather young yet. It is interesting to hear that you contemplate a volume—"Economics for the Infant Mind."—See Hebrews v., 14.

J. H. BXXXMXNT.—We regre to learn that you did not even open the skull of your dogfish to look at its brain. Such jealousy!

J. F. SKXDDXN.—0 We think that you need not be afraid of the Students' Association fixing a maximum time for use of telephone at under 30 minutes. As you know, P. Mxxxtxn Smxth uses it also.

J. E. BRXXDXE.—We must remind you that arts students (even of the fair sex) are debarred from use of the science wing of the library. Also that communication, both pedal and ocular, is against the rules.

N. McCLXLLXND.—It is unfortunate that sleeping accommodation is not provided in the science building, also that the advanced chemical lab. is filled with junior students.
