1840. 13 October.Tapukapuka.I hereby acknowledge to have received from Thomas Hellyer the sum of One Thomas Hellyer.hundred and Sixty Pounds Sterling as payment for all the land mentioned in this deed and in case his title not being sanctioned by the British Government I hereby promise to return the above amount with Interest at 10 pr. cent. after written Six months' Receipt for £160.notice As witness my hand this thirteenth day of October 1840. £160.
