1836. 12 February.Sacred places purchased.The undermentioned property was paid to the Native Chiefs on the Twelveth day of February 1836—in consideration of their relinquishing all sacred claims which they have imposed upon the Land in consequence of the death of certain chiefs caused by a fight which occurred in the month of May 1833.
