1865. 18 October.Tiraumea.We have this day received the sum of Twenty five Pounds (£25)
from Dr. FeatherstonReceipt for £25. We have already received the sum of Fifty Pounds (£50) from Mr. McLean
making altogether Seventy five Pounds that we have received for this land the
boundaries of which are hereunder set forth and which it has been truly agreed
to finally cede to Victoria the Queen of England and to the Kings or Queens who
may succeed her forBoundaries. ever. The boundaries of this land are Tiraumea, thence along the
Tiraumea to Ihuraua thence along the Ihuraua to Mangatakoto, thence along the
Mangatakoto to the source of Mangaone thence along the Mangaone to Tiraumea.
When the survey of this land is completed the balance to be paid will be
arranged
