Napier, September 23, 1858.
1858. 23 September.I have received this day from Mr. Cooper One Hundred Pounds as payment for myOpako. land at Opako which I have ceded to Victoria the Queen of England, Her Heirs theReceipt for £100. Kings and Queens who may succeed Her for ever. When the land is surveyed, and its extent and quality ascertained, the remainder of the money will be paid if there be any balance due.
