Ahuriri,
March 7th, 1855.
1855. 7 March.We have received from Mr. McLean the sum of one hundred pounds
£100 ThisTareha's Claims. is a payment to us for all our lands sold by the Wairarapa people to
Victoria the QueenReceipt for £100. of England for ever.
This is the only demand we shall ever make upon the white people on account of this land, and this is all the payment to us for our land sold to the Queen by the people of Wairarapa.
