1854. 6 February.Te Pi And Hiriona's Claims.Received by us on this day the (6) sixth day of February in the
year of our Lord (1854) one thousand eight hundred and fifty four the sum of (£50)
fifty pounds as payment to us for all our claim on land at Wairarapa having been
fully and finally given upReceipt for £50. by our Natives to Victoria the Queen of England and to the Kings or Queens
who may succeed her for ever and ever. This money having been paid to us this day
we hereunto sign our names.
