1873. 17 December.Wairarapa District. This Deed made the seventeenth day of December one thousand eight
hundred and seventy three between Karaitiana te Korou of Wairarapa in the
Province of Wellington an aboriginal native (hereinafter called the vendor) of
the one part and Her Majesty
Kurumahinono Queen Victoria (hereinafter called the Queen) of the other part,
Witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of two hundred pounds paid by Thomas
Albert Hill of Wairarapa to the Vendor, (the receipt of which he doth hereby
