Translation.
Waikawa, Waikawa, 22 December, 1855.
We have received on this day from Mr. McLean the sum of
Fifteen Pounds, £15.1855. 22 December.WAIKAWA FERRY. This is the payment which it was agreed should be paid to us for the
piece of land at Waikawa, as a resting place for travellers; the boundaries of
which have been stated in theReceipt for £15. Deed conveying the land executed by us in the presence of the Governor
and Mr. McLean.
