Translation.

Auckland, 11th July, 1854.
I have this day received the balance of the money £50 of the payment of the land 1854. 11 July. Orakei. mentioned in this document at Orakei. Mr. McLean paid this money and this is the Receipt for £50, final instalment. finals payment for that land there is to be no further payment whatever. This is the giving up entirely to the Queen of England for ever.
