1854. 10 July.We have received on this (10th) day of July in the year 1854 the sum of one hundred pounds (£100) being an instalment for our land at Waiheke. The boundary commences Waiheke Island. at Opopo, thence along the beach to Te Awanui thence to Onekura Ngikiairangi, Waiiti Opopo. thence outwards to Purumangimangi, and turning in an Easterly direction to Hoengaro, Boundaries. Waimai, Kotoriroa, Onea, Taurangakawau, Waioma, where it turns inland and the Northern boundary commences, thence along the ridge of Mairitahi to Te Totara thence Receipt for £100 (instalment). to Ohaua, Omangimangi, Otaraua, the West boundary commences at Oparaoa thence to Ohata and down to the beach at Opopo. When the land has been surveyed the final amount of payment shall be agreed upon, but it shall not exceed the sum of Two hundred pounds more. On the receipt of these one hundred pounds we have hereunto affixed our names and solemn consent.
