1862 22 November.Kaipara District.Kua riro mai ki a maua na Te Rokena i homai mo te Kawanatanga e toru pauna Te Karae Reserve. Receipt for £3. [24 acres.] takitaki ko te utu tenei mo te wahi kua wakatapua mo maua i te Karae imua i te ruritanga o Matawhero ko nga eka koia tenei 24 eka.

We have received from Mr. Rogan for the Government three pounds, this is a payment 1862 22 November. Te Karae Reserve. for a piece of land we kept for ourselves at Te Karae when Matawhero block was Receipt for £3. [24 acres.] surveyed, the number of acres are 24.
