Translation.

1854. 30 September. I have received from Mr. Rogan the sum of Ten Pounds (£10) as payment for all my lands Awakino. within the boundaries of the block of land surrendered to the Queen by Takarei and the men of Mokau on the 28th day of March, 1854. Receipt for £10.
