E whakaaetia ana e matou kua riro mai ki a matou nga pauna moni kotahi rau e rima Waikiekie. tekau takitahi i nga moni o te Kawanatanga he mea homai na te Rokena he homaitanga Receipt for £150, advance. moni ano tenei mo Waikiekie i te Takiwa ki Kaipara e wha hoki ran pauna i riro mai ki Previous payment, £400. a matou imua ia ko enei moni ka whakahokia e matou ki te Kawanatanga ana oti taua whenua te ruri.

Auckland, July 30th, 1862
1862 30 July. We hereby acknowledge to have received the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds from Waikiekie. the Government through Mr. Rogan as a further advance on account of Waikiekie block Receipt for £150, advance. in the Kaipara District, £400 having been previously received by us which money will be repaid to the Government by us when the survey of this land shall have been Previous payment, £400. completed.
