1853 6 AprilWhaingaroa.Given to us by Mr.'Ligar, Suryeyor General the sum of twenty five pounds the sum as Receipt for £25 agreed to for us, by William te Awaitaia in the payments for the whaingaroa in this Year for the land sold to the Governor.
