Translation.
We have received this day the sum of Fifty Pounds (£50) once told a first
instalment 1854. 25 July. for our land inland of Waikato. The boundary commences. at Tututawa, thence
to Tarataraakina and on to Kiripaka when it ascends to the summit of Maungakawau,
thence to Lower Waikato District te Papa o Mawhatu, on to Mangapiko, thence along the summit of Oheuheu to
Tututawa. When the boundaries have been pointed out by us and the land surveyed
Tututawa. the total amount of payment will be agreed upon. On the receipt of these
monies on Boundaries this 25th day of July 1854 we hereunto affix our names and marks of assent.
