Listen all people! The Civil Commissioner has, through the consent of the Government, given me a Horse, in consideration of a Wahi Tapu, which belonged to my Ancestors called "Paokaroro"; And I herewith agree and consent to give up all claim thereto. Paokaroro. It being included in the boundary of what is called the Children's Land at Keri Keri Receipt for One Horse. near Orongo. In witness whereof I affirm this day the twenty fifth of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty three in the presence of—
