I shall confine myself to the most useful of the breeds that are reading to be got. Each breed has its distinguishing marks or points, but in a small work like this space will not allow them to be dwelt on. I shall give a few of their leading useful qualities instead. By knowing the latter we can obtain, either pure or in a cross, the exact bird we want.
