To any of us in Edinburgh here—I speak but the universal opinion of any one capable of forming an opinion—you would require no testimonial you are too well and, too favourably known as one of the most accomplished of the rising school of scientific teachers. For my own part, I am quite sorry that England is likely to lose you, for your success here was simply a question of time. I know no one better qualified for the duties of a teacher of Anatomy than yourself.
