To the Honourable. The Members of the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives of New Zealand, the following Letters, offering suggestions as to the best mode of dealing with the regulation of the Liquor Trede,—a subject of vital importance to the Commonwealth,—are most respectfully flssembly, by amendment of the law, will give effect to a widely-spread desire for a remedy against the growing evils flowing from an abuse of intoxication liquor.
