The trunk is a broad, smooth disk; tail with rayed dorsal (absent in Temera) and caudal fins, and a longitudinal fold along page 94 each side. Anterior nasal valves confluent into a quadrangular lobe. An electric organ composed of vertical hexagonal tubes between the pectoral fins and the head.
