The meanings of some other mystic words can be found in the University Calendar—words such as graduand. Terms, Study Week, finals, or graduate. A "fresher" is a male first year student at Victoria, and a "freshette" the female of the species. "Freshers Prom" is also known as Orientation Ball, and generally ends Orientation Week, when a fresher is orientated, or shown his surroundings.
