Jim Milburn

Jim Milburn age 23, fresher in 1941. T.C. student 1942, three years' war service, and T.C. in 1946 again. Committee experience at T.C. included secretaryship of Drama and Debating Clubs, and active experience on Student Opinion.

Graduated B.A. in Political Science 1946 and at present in the Law Faculty. Chief interest at VUC has been debating; a member of the debating committee 1947 and 1948 winner of Plunket Medal and runner-up of the Union Prize 1947. Other activities. Extrav. and Rugby.

If, elected his chief aims/would be to further relations between VUC and the citizens or Wellington support all measures designed to ensure greater Student participation in the arrangement of University courses academic extension Of departments viz., Political Science and Geography to the honours stage.
