Last week witnessed a customery massive turnout for student elections — a staggering 7% of students [480 out of 6,500] managed to get pen to paper and vote for the positions of SRC Co-ordinator, Cultural Affairs Officer, and toman Vice-President. Despite the fact that only one candidate stood for each position they all faced strong opposition from the no-confidence quarter which took an average of 26% of the vote.
