If you have actually endured the news copy this far you're probably wondering why it's so bad. The first reason is that nothing of any great important has happened this week; the second is that whenever anything does happer there's no-one to report it. We don't have any hang-ups about objectivity: if you have a point of view and want to put it across (in less than 300 words) then these pages are open. (The day is going to come when it isn't going to be worth while writing fillers like this.) If the 6000 students at Victoria are so mindless and stupid that they are in capable of writing anything, then it's likely that they won't want to read anything either.
