Cricket A.G.M.

The Annual General Meeting of the VUW Cricket Club will be held in the Women's Common Room at 7.30 p.m, tomorrow. September 18.

The club is a strong one and holds a prominent position in Wellington cricket circles.

Performances in the 1967- 68 season were generally of a high standard.

The Senior side finished sixth equal in the Senior competition, after having won the title the previous season. The other Vic cricket teams also finished well up in their respective grades.

The club's policy for the coming season is designed to encourage a fuller student participation in the club's activities. Every effort is to be made to promote a young, all-student side in the 2A grade.

Items to be discussed at the AGM will include practice facilities, team trials, means of financing a new pavilion at Kelburn Park, presentation of trophies, and the election of officers for the 1968-69 season.
