Victoria's first teachin for 1967 will discuss the problems of world over-population. This symposium will be sponsored by the Students' Association, and will be held in the Memorial Theatre on Sunday June 11 at 2pm.
Speakers will include Dr Alice Bush, a family-planning expert, Mr Bhattacharyya, senior lecturer in economics. Dr. Eric Geiringer well-known Wellington general practitioner. Mr R. J. Rcse, Health Department statistician, and Peter Bland, poet and playwright
'The population problem ls he gravest threat to world stability in our age," International Affairs Officer Mike King told Salient.
"It is far more fundamental and lasting than the clash between Communism and Capitalism, or colonialism and nationalism." he said.
