International Club elects officers

Mr. G. Townaley (NZ) was elected president of the International Club for the ensuing year at the annual general meeting held in the Upper Gymnasium on Thursday evening, March 22.

An audience of 30 heard retiring president, M. Edwards, report on a successful year's activities. Others elected were: Vice-presidents, Mr. J. H. D. Smith (UK), Miss J. Kozera (Poland); Secretary, Mr. C. McBride ( (Ireland); Treasurer, Mr. B. Callingham (NZ); Committee. Mr. Augustine (India), Miss James (Wales), Miss Geddes (S. Africa), Miss N. O'Shea (NZ), Mr. Overman (Holland).

The meeting ended with a brief dance.
