Delegates' Message

Once Again Winter Tournament is upon us—this time in the "Sunny South" in the City of Dunedin. Victoria this year will be entering the lists with a fine record from last year's Winter Tournament.

Remember that last year's team won the Shield: It is up to you, the members of this year's team, to retain it.

Remember that when you hit Dunedin you have two duties—to have and to hold. To have a good time, and to hold the shield.

On paper, our teams appear quite strong, but it is in the field that they must prove themselves. May good fortune guide you and the might of right be with you.
