It appears that the defunct Charter Club has once again shown some signs of life—but don't imagine that it is a phoenix arising from the ashes of 1950's quite active club. No, the A.G.M. on Wednesday the 3rd was not the sign of new life but rather an indication that there was life. It was the last twitch of a dying body. Most of the short period that the meeting occupied was spent in frivolous quibblings over the annual report (entertaining reading). However, the following officers were prevailed upon to accept office:—

• Secretary: J. Cody.
• Treasurer: M. Lennane.
• Committee: Messrs. Curtin, Hogg, O'Shea and Patchett.
