Editor, Daily Trojan.

An as example of world co-operation and reciprocal lend-lease, it is suggested that the people and government of Italy show their disinterest in our November elections by the following methods.

First, a campaign of letter writing to American relatives by the people of italy, telling of the ease and comfort of the "Italian Way of Life."

Second, just before the election, large shipments of food and clothing could be distributed to good Americans, those who are sympathetic, let us say, to the cause of leader Truman.

Third, an armada of Italian warships could anchor in New York harbour; in case of local violence.

Fourth and last, a squadron of fifty Italian super bombers could fly majestically over America.

Then, it is to be taken for granted, the American people would vote as their conscience dictates.

George Koenig.
