Mike Murray

Mike came to Victoria in 1944, and is a Science student. He is a member of the Medical Scheme Committee, the Cafeteria Inquiry Committee and is Gym. Controller. He is a member of the Debating and Biological Societies and of "Salient" Staff. Mike has taken part in three Extravs. and has been Chief Guide of the Tramping Club for the past two years. He is a member of the retiring Executive.

Mike is keen to find means of improving the Cafeteria both as regards service and price of meals. As Exchange Manager of "Salient" he endeavours to establish better contact with universities outside New Zealand and would like the Executive to continue this work. He also wants continuation of the policy [unclear: of] full cooperation with NZUSA. He is interested in setting up an Orientation Course on the lines of those in Australian Universities to help acquaint freshers with the College.
