The Serious Side
The Serious Side
On Sunday evening about seventy students attended the Tournament Service at St. Paul's, when Mr. W. G. Smith, Acting-Chairman of N.Z.U.S.A., read the first Lesson and Mr. J. V. Ilott, V.U.C. Chaperone, the second.
Canon D. J. Davies delivered a thought-provoking address on Education and Easter, suggesting that students take a longer view of education as preparation for a life beyond the earthly existence of man.
Our thanks are due to Canon Davies for a most inspiring service. It is well that students from the air colleges meeting in sport and intellectual co-operation should also join in worship.—M. Shirley Grinlinton
