Poem
Poem.
Beholding the blotched fabric of the
sea,
The gull's articulate parabola,
And sun through cloud straight
shafted,
We shall restore
The blood's fulfillment;
And in the waves incessant descant,
Tugging of wind at vagrant hair,
Insidious shift of sand
Beneath grain-massaged feet,
Shall find more wonder stored,
Than ever seer-eyed jinn,
Or monstrous genil knew.
