Reduction in Text Books

Reduction in Text Books

Arrangements have been finalised with Messrs. Whitcombe & Tombs Ltd. whereby bona-fide students may obtain text-books on indent by ordering before November 20th. The reduction is equivalent to 10 per cent to 15 per cent according to circumstances, and is made up as follows:—

English books may be obtained at English published price plus 40 per cent in Dunedin, Christchurch, and Wellington or plus 35 per cent in Auckland.

American and all other foreign books may be obtained at Whitcombe's retail price less 10 per cent when similarly ordered.

Whitcombe's will immediately after November 20th, submit the names of applicants to the Secretary of the local Students Association who will check same for eligibility.
