Disputing the Bans
Disputing the Bans.
After considerable argument, Mr. Heine's motion that no effort be made to reinstate the Procession was lost. Instead, the meeting decided to adopt Mr. Aimers's suggestion that a meeting be held to ascertain whether there would be sufficient suport for a procession to justify the Executive's applying for the removal of the ban.
Concerning another ban, that on the discussion of sex and religion, something has already been done. The Executive has placed a request before the Professorial Board, and there is some possiblitiy that the Professorial verbot may be removed.
