Do You Think?

I disagree with Adam Baba in its view shown in Messtin's line (and repeated elsewhere)—"Since this other party has educated the people, we can't get away with the simple un kempt promises we used to." The National Party is getting away with nonsense as ridiculous an ever and the people just do not think. The piece contained the answer to some extent—"Everyone believes what appears in the newspapers"—"They could meet all the best people at Adam Baba's Garden Parties"—the adulation of leaders among the National Party, etc. Of course, the trouble is really historical; It has never paid the ruling class to educate, in the true essence, the mass of the people, and even when it has quite recently become impossible to continue this inaction, there Is still the barrier that we are surrounded with a traditional society; every phase of our existence tends to uphold the status quo and stands in the way of change. The question remains—
