The Kia ora coo-ee : the magazine for the ANZACS in the Middle East, 1918
[The volume entitled 'New Zealand at the Front'...]
The volume entitled "New Zealand at the Front", published in London last year, was in such demand that an edition of 30,000 copies was almost sold out. The book is excellent in every way; letterpress and illustrations are of a high standard, and the printing also is first class. This year, however, it is hoped to produce an even better volume if more time is given for receipt of contributions and for printing. The majority of those who contributed to the first volume have promised to help with the second, and fresh talent will be enlisted. Contributions are desired from members of the N.Z.EF. in Palestine. Artists are asked to send typical landscapes and figure studies in colour, and drawings in line and wash as soon as possible. For the best cover design a prize of 100 francs is offered. Prose and verse are also required. All contributions should be addressed to the Editor "New Zealand at the Front", Headquarters N.Z. Division, B.E.F., France.
