No. 490 (1908).—Petition of Paora Kurupo and 21 Others, of Moteo, Hawke's Bay.
Relative to the alienation of Native land by lease.
I am directed to report that, as the principle involved in this petition is now under the consideration of the Native Land Commission appointed by His Excellency the Governor, the Committee has no recommendation to make.

Mo runga mo te tukunga o nga whenua Maori i runga i te riihi
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ripoata, i te mea ko te tikanga e paangia ana e tenei pitihana kei te whiriwhiria i naianei e te Komihana Whenua Maori i whakaturia e te Kawana, no reira kaore kau he kupu a te Komiti.
