No. 347 (1908).—Petition of Arapata Renata and 17 Others, of Mangamaunu.

Petitioners pray that the Mangamaunu Reserve be not acquired for scenic purposes under the Scenery-preservation Act.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition be referred to the favourable consideration of the Government, with a view to carrying out the wishes of the petitioners.
