No. 819 (1907).—Petition of Te Para Haimona, of Te Akau.

Re succession to the interest of Meri Taunoa, deceased, in the Te Akau Block.

I am directed to report that, owing to the time that has elapsed since the events alleged in the petition, and the unreliability of the genealogical table supplied, and also there being no present direct descendant, the Committee has no recommendation to make.

Mo te whakatuunga kai-riiwhi mo te paanga o Meri Taunoa, kua mate nei, i Te Akau Poraka.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ripoata, i runga i te roa rawa o te wa kua taha ake nei i naianei i muri mai o te putanga o nga tikanga e korerotia nei i roto i te pitihana, me te kore hoki i marama te pono o nga huarahi whakapapa i homai; a i te mea ano hoki kaore kau he uri i heke tika iho nei i taua tupapaku kei te ora i naianei, no reira kaore kau he kupu a te Komiti.
