No. 544 (1907).—Petition of Taiawhio te Tau and 2 Others, of Whareama, East Coast.
Petitioners pray for further inquiry into the Waimimiha Block, Whareama East.
I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, with a strong recommendation that the reserve at Waimimiha should be surveyed at once and the Native owners given possession.

E inoi ana kia uiuia ano te Waimimiha Poraka, kei Whareama Rawhiti.
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ripoata, ki te whakaaro a te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia whiriwhiria paitia, me te tohutohu kaha atu ko te Rahui i Waimimiha me hohoro te ruuri i naianei tonu, a me hoatu ki nga Maori no ratou.
