Petitioners pray that Europeans be prevented from removing timber from the Whakaangiangi Block.
I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration, and that the attention of the Government be drawn to the report of this Committee on a similar petition, dated the 26th September, 1906—namely "I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry, with a view to finding out if any arrangement could be made with the European lessees in reference to the burial-places mentioned in the petition "
