Petitioners claim land at Kaitaia, near the Pukepoto Block, and pray that it may be handed over to them.
I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry.

E kereme ana nga kai-pitihana i tetahi whenua kei Kaitaia e tata ana ki Pukepoto Poraka a e inoi ana kia hoatu ki a ratou.
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia uiuia.
