Petitioners pray for restitution of their land alleged to have been wrongfully taken in with the award to the Crown in the purchase of the Mangorewa Kaharoa Block.

I am directed to report that the Committee repeats the recommendation made in 1901—viz., that the petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry.
