No. 765, 1903.—Petition of Ngahuka Tungia and 5 Others.

Petitioners pray for restitution of To Paruparu Island, in Te Hoiere, Pelorus Sound.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that the attention of the Government should be called to the report of the Native Affairs Committee in 1884 (see I.–3, 1884), and that further inquiries should be made.

No. 765, 1903.—Pitihana a Ngahuka Tungla ratou ki etahi atu toko-rima.

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia whakahokia atu ki a ratou a Te Paruparu, he motu, kei Te Hoiere, Pelorus Sound.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me mea atu ki te Kawanatanga kia tirohia te ripoaia a te Komiti mo nga Mea Maori o te tau 1884, a me whakahaere ano etahi uiui mo taua take. (Tirohia I.–3, 1884.)
